A striking vintage Taxco sterling silver serpent ring, beautifully sculpted in the form of a coiled snake wrapping around the finger.
The serpent's body is richly textured with an engraved scale pattern, following the natural curves of the snake as it coils around the finger and finishes with a gracefully curling tail. Set directly into the snake's head is an iridescent abalone shell inlay, flashing luminous shades of purple and green as it moves through the light.
At 9.3 grams, the ring has a substantial, sculptural presence. The combination of detailed silverwork and glowing abalone gives the piece an especially captivating quality—you notice something different each time the ring catches the light.
The interior is hallmarked STERLING TAXCO HENCHO EN MEXICO 925 AAR, confirming its Mexican origin, sterling silver content, and Taxco craftsmanship.
The serpent has long been a symbol of eternal love and renewal, making this more than simply a beautiful piece of snake jewelry. Wear it as a personal symbol, a conversation piece, or simply for the drama of having a beautifully rendered serpent coiled around your finger.
