Incredible statement cocktail ring, handcrafted in a 10K gold, features a bright flashing purple to reddish blue color changing 17 carat synthetic alexandrite stone. The sapphire gemstone is securely held aloft in a heavy, highly stylized setting with a cutout design. The alexandrite shows a rich purple-red in sunlight changing to a deep purple-blue in a different light. Since the discovery of alexandrite, the gemstone has been thought to bring luck, good fortune, love and encourages romance. What a wonderful statement ring!
