This vintage pendant necklace features a finely detailed moss agate paired with a vibrant red carnelian agate beneath it. The agate showcases a stunning range of colors, from rich moss green to translucent white with soft amber tones. Both stones are securely bezel set with closed backs, enhancing their natural hues by reflecting light off the silver backing. Agate jewelry was highly sought after in Victorian England, with demand so great that the mines producing these stones were depleted by the early 1900s.
