The faceted oval solitaire gemstone with openwork gallery glows from the yellow gold mounting with a triple split shoulder and a wide back band. In ancient lore, Aquamarine was believed to be the treasure of mermaids and was used by sailors as a talisman of good luck, fearlessness, and protection. A wonderful vintage ring!
