A truly extraordinary handcrafted statement pendant combining sterling silver, gold-filled accents, iridescent titanium, and a glowing amber cabochon in an imaginative abstract crescent moon design.
Measuring an impressive 2 1/2 inches long and weighing 16.6 grams, this sculptural pendant has wonderful three-dimensional depth. A graceful gold-filled crescent moon curves around one side, while the opposite side opens into a fan-like sterling silver form with a richly textured surface.
At the center, an offset bezel-set amber cabochon adds a warm golden-orange glow against the cool silver. The bottom is finished with a sweeping piece of iridescent purple-blue titanium, creating an exceptional flash of color that changes beautifully with the light.
The combination of contrasting metals, textures, color, and gemstone makes this a particularly artistic and unusual piece. Suspended from a large, substantial bail, the pendant has the scale and presence of a true statement jewel.
