The Antique Victorian Shield Shaped Bloodstone Locket, dating back to 1871, boasts superior craftsmanship with a unique shield design and intricate engravings. The rich green bloodstone, featuring red flecks, is securely held in place by shield-shaped rings on both sides, with two compartments for photos. Adorned with the initials TM and inscribed with No 18 Coy Q.ER.V.B. Company Competition, 1st Prize gained by T.Mill, August 28th, 1871, this locket is a highly prized collectible for enthusiasts of sentimental antiques

Condition: The locket is in very good condition, with no chips or nicks on the bloodstone and little wear on the rolled gold. It closes with a firm snap.
