This original sterling silver Victorian locket and matching book chain, crafted around 1884, boasts a striking ornate design. The oval locket features an engraved leaf and cross motif on the front, and a solid silver back that can be engraved to personalize. Inside are two compartments to safely store special treasures. The bold collar has a foliate carved link with a ring between each link, allowing the wearer to style the necklace with the locket or on its own. This highly collectible piece is sure to impress.

Measurements: The chain without the locket measure 14 inches. The locket itself measures 2 inches from the spring ring style bale.

Condition: Good showing normal age appropriate wear. There are very minor dints on the back of the locket. Not a deterrent but mentioned for accuracy.
