Exquisite antique estate 5.5 carat natural white star sapphire ring in a halo of 1.75 carats of glowing ruby gemstones. The oval cab sparkles with a shimmering six-legged star (or asterism) radiating from the center of a 10K white gold with the old cut rubies set in a scalloped halo. Hard to capture in pictures, the star shifts and floats across the stone with light and movement and goes all the way to the base of the stone. The white gold is joined by a 10K yellow gold pierced gallery with thick ribbed shoulders. Star sapphires are said to bring intelligence as well as a deeper love to the wearer.

Condition: Very good with no noted flaws. One of the old mine cut rubies has a teeny flake visible by louping.
