Wonderful authentic antique micro mosaic brooch set in 14K gold depicting a bunny, bird, King Charles Spaniel dog, and cat set into black onyx. The Etruscan Revival designed quatrefoil brooch has each animal bezel set surrounded by a braided frame and closed with a c-clasp and tubular hinge. Exquisite workmanship and a delightful themed piece dating to the late 1800's.

Condition: Very good with all tesserae present and the gold in immaculate condition. There is a minute hairline crack on the bird, which is visible from the back of the brooch, although very secure.
