A striking antique pendant centered by a luminous 8.5-carat natural purple amethyst, beautifully faceted to catch and reflect the light from every angle.
Dating to the early 1900s, the richly colored gemstone is elevated in a simple sterling silver mounting and secured with delicate prongs, allowing plenty of light to pass through the stone. An elongated fixed bail completes the graceful silhouette without distracting from the amethyst.
