An elegant and full of whimsy Victorian brooch made of carved Whitby Jet. The brooch takes on the shape of large heart with a lily of the valley dancing across the front. During Victorian times, the lily of the valley symbolized purity and joy of a relationship, with the heart representing love. Exquisite carving and very sentimental, the brooch is as beautiful today as it was over 130 years ago.
