Truly spectacular gutta percha/ Vulcanite Victorian mourning antique locket pendant with a detailed forget me not front! The locket has an ornately carved design on the front with forget me not flowers. When opened, the locket has two compartments. Exquisitely produced and a most unique piece of authentic all original Victorian mourning jewelry that is as wearable today as it was 150 years ago!
Materials: Gutta Percha/ Vulcanite
Measurements: The locket measures 2 1/2 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches wide.
Circa: 1850-1860 Civil War Era
Condition: Very good antique condition. The locket closes with a firm snap with the carving crisp.
