A handsomely exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver locket pendant necklace featuring a floral scroll buckle across the front. The buckle detail is in high relief, with the locket opening to two glass-covered compartments, including rings for holding mementos. The back of the locket is smooth and ready to be engraved. The buckle imagery was used in the Victorian and Edwardian eras to symbolize strength, fidelity, and eternity. Such a romantic piece of antique jewelry!
