There is something wonderfully striking about the simplicity of this Art Deco rock crystal necklace. A long strand of clear, spherical quartz beads creates a luminous, almost icy effect, while the unusual blue sugarloaf clasp adds just the right touch of color.
The necklace features a beautiful rhythm created by 11.80 mm rock crystal beads separated by tiny crystal spacers. Measuring an impressive 36½ inches long, it can be worn as a dramatic, long flapper-style necklace or doubled around the neck for a layered look.
The focal point is the blue sapphire glass sugarloaf cabochon clasp, set in sterling silver. Its bold blue color is a beautiful contrast to the transparent crystal beads and gives the necklace an unexpected Art Deco accent.
Weighing 156 grams, this is a substantial vintage necklace with wonderful presence. The combination of geometric forms, sparkling rock crystal, and a bold cabochon clasp captures the sleek, streamlined aesthetic that makes Art Deco jewelry so enduring.
