Victorian Style Silver Dove Banded Agate Pendant Necklace

Stunning Victorian style Scottish banded agate ball pendant with a dove in flight at the top! The pendant features a delicately carved dove bird atop a petal bale holding a deep black banded agate ball. The agate has a white stripe through the center. Banded agate necklaces were so popular in Victorian England, that by around 1900, the mines that produced these stones were exhausted. Exquisite Victorian necklace as in style today as it was well over 100 years ago.

Materials: Sterling Silver
Gemstone: Scottish Banded Agate
Measurements: Pendant and drop measures just over an inch tall and just under 3/4 inches wide and is suspended from an 18 inch fine link sterling chain.
Weight: 10.9 grams with the chain.
