Victorian Gold Engraved Cut Steel Bangle Bracelet
A rare and eminently wearable work of art, this antique Victorian bangle bracelet, circa 1850s, features cut steel and engraved gold metal. The hinged bracelet has heavy curving gold links with a steel plate inset. Through the center is a riveted scroll engraved gold band with a faceted cut steel oval in the front. The hinge sections are covered with a riveted fleur-de-lis designed element. The bracelet is closed by a long slide bar clasp. A standout among antique bangles!

- Measurements: 6.25 inches around the inside and an inside diameter of 2 1/8 inch. Just shy of 7/8 inch wide in the front graduating to 1/2 inch in the back.
- Weight: 45 grams
- Condition: The hinges and clasp are secure with the gold metal bright. There is some loss to the shine on the steel predominantly on one side although have not cleaned the piece.
