Victorian English Enamel Pearl Garnet 9K Gold Locket
Antique Victorian locket pendant, rendered in a 9K yellow gold, circa mid 19th century, features garnets, pearls, enamel accents and hails from England. Garnet gemstones with a pearl center are surrounded by an oval ribbon of cobalt blue enamel and a row of seed pearls all on a recessed stippled background. A diamond shaped gold border completes the front. The back bears a buckle motif with a ribbon style center ready for engraving initials. When opened, one side is home to a raised beveled glass frame with the other side having a perspex with frame. Closing with a snap, the locket is the perfect sentimental piece of jewelry!
