Victorian 14K Gold Pearl Black Enamel Locket Antique Pendant
Victorian black enamel locket pendant, circa 1880s, features an engraved cross crucifix on the front inset with delicate seed pearls crafted in 14K gold. The mourning locket sways from a gold bale with the back smooth. Inside are two compartments, both with original glass and rings. The cross represented faith with the pearls representing tears. Such a lovely sentimental piece!

Condition: Very good with the locket closing with a snap. There is a very small flake to the enamel on the side which is not readily noticeable. A beautiful piece of antique jewelry!
