Sterling Silver Operculum Four Leaf Clover Brooch
A sterling silver four leaf clover forms the background with a center operculum shell forms this antique Victorian brooch, circa 1900s. The curving realistic textured links are rendered in a sterling silver with the back having an elongated pin stem and roll over clasp. The Victorians believed that the shell would ward off evil and bring good luck to the wearer. Mixed with the lucky four leaf clover, it's hard to miss with this antique brooch!
