Silver Antique Victorian Collar Locket Necklace
Hailing from Birmingham, England, this sterling silver locket and collar necklace was produced during the Aesthetic Period of Victoria's rein circa 1880. The Greco-Etruscan motifs of the collar feature beaded borders and the over-sized locket has marvelous elements of floral and bead detail. Hallmarked on the back of the locket with the lion rampant, city mark for Birmingham and the letter date for 1882 as well as the makers mark. The locket portion can be disconnected with the collar worn separately. A super, highly collectible piece of antique jewelry!

- Measurements: The collar portion measures 16.75 inches with the bale and locket adding an additional 4 inches. The locket alone measures 2.25 inches tall and 2.75 inches wide.
