Enamel Pink Sapphire Glass Silver Art Nouveau Necklace
A ring of guilloche blue enamel encircles pink sapphire glass in this antique Art Nouveau necklace pendant from the early 1900s. Rendered in sterling silver, the pendant has a silver filigree scalloped frame with oval open back glass stones at the quarters. A blue enamel ring with yellow gold accents surrounds a square faceted pink stone in the center. The pendant is suspended from a double heart silver shape with diamond shaped emerald green glass stones. A pink glass bale connects to a fine sterling silver chain. Hallmarked with a double H for the maker, the necklace appears to be Norwegian in origin. Stunning piece!
