Art Deco Amethyst Snake Bracelet, Andreas Daub
Beautiful antique Edwardian to Art Deco bangle bracelet with double snake heads having brilliant amethyst glass stones! The segmented rolled gold band has a diamond pattern within each link. The bracelet wraps around the wrist with the two snake heads crossing over in the front. Life like down to the scales, each head has a bezel set open back faceted purple stone in the center. Hallmarked rolled gold foreign and the makers mark AD with a crest between for Andreas Daub, Pforzheim. Absolutely striking piece and very collectible!

Gemstones: Amethyst glass - Each measures 12mm by 8mm
Measurements: At rest, the bracelet measures 7 1/2 inches but can accommodate a slightly larger wrist as it is flexible. The double snake heads measure 1 1/4 wide in the front.
Hallmarked: AD Rolled Gold Foreign
Date: Circa 1915-1920
Condition: Very good with no chips or nicks to the stones and the rolled gold showing normal age appropriate wear. Note that any dark spots are camera reflections... A superb snake bangle sure to please!
