Antique Victorian Gold Wedding Bracelet Pair C 1890
Lovely Victorian wedding bracelet set, artfully adorned with an engraved and raised scroll pattern, dates to the late 1890s. Ornamented around the front with the design against a fine stippled background, each of the bracelets has a smooth back band with a border on the top and bottom. The bracelets open and close with a twist. A classic pair of Victorian to Edwardian pair of bangles!
During Victorian time, these bracelets came in pairs. One was given for the betrothal and the other after marriage. As beautiful and sentimental today as they were back over 125 years ago.
