Antique Silver Pearl and Garnet Butterfly Brooch
A large and quite impressive antique Victorian garnet and pearl brooch, crafted in sterling silver, in the shape of a butterfly. The center insect body has a large emerald cut open back pyrope garnet with a natural oval pearl forming the body. Large rose cut garnets dot each wing along with garnet cabochons and delicate seed pearls.
Butterflies in jewelry can imply patience, love and happiness. A wonderful symbol for a sentimental gift and heirloom.
