Antique Rose Gold French Jet Flower Brooch
Button shapes of carved flowers in black French jet crepe stone form this wonderful antique bar pin Victorian mourning brooch from the 1870s. A tubular hinge in a rose gold and curling clasp close the piece in the back.
During part of the Victorian period from 1860 to 1890, black jewelry was popular and not only worn as mourning jewelry but because of it's stylish color. The brooch is wonderful worn on a lapel or as a pendant by adding a chain.
