Antique Pair Garnet Gold Victorian Wedding Bracelets ON HOLD
Extravagantly ornamented rare matched pair Victorian wedding bangle bracelets circa 1875. Each bangle displays an engraved gold filled front with a crescent of garnet, pearl and turquoise stones. Each Etruscan embellished arm ends with a diamond shaped ball. Curving spring loaded gold tubular bands cross over in the back. Very rare to find a matching set in exquisite condition with such a feminine delicate theme!
During Victorian times, a bracelet was given and worn when betrothed and the matching bangle worn after marriage. A sentimental and endearing tradition of love!
Measurements: 6 inches on the inside and the front measuring a touch over 1/2 inch. The bangles can accommodate a slightly larger wrist as the arms are expandable
