Antique Georgian Persian Turquoise Cross Pendant Charm
Enchanting late Georgian to early Victorian era cross pendant covered with Persian turquoise rendered in a sterling silver closed back frame. The natural untreated turquoise forms flower clusters with a faceted sterling center with all cut by a very skilled hand and set meticulously one by one, nestled securely into their solid sterling settings. Each turquoise bears expected and preferred natural variations attesting to the wonderful workmanship of the Georgian time period, circa 1790 to 1800. The back bears two stamps although illegible. A lovely one of a kind piece of history ready to be enjoyed once again!
