Antique Georgian Amethyst Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Georgian era impressive 12K yellow gold and silver antique halo diamond engagement ring with amethyst center, circa early to middle 1800s, hails from Continental Europe. Two separate tiers of hand set rose cut diamonds cascade down from a center high dome deep purple amethyst gemstone wrapped in a beaded gold band. Even the underside of the ring is hand engraved in a gorgeous spray design while the shank itself is ornately decorated with a garland vine pattern. Most likely Italian in origin, this is an outstanding ring that can be easily worn every day.

- Condition: Very good with a few of the diamonds having minute chips and nicks throughout the ages. The ring has recently been cleaned and in fine condition.
