Antique English Sterling Silver Wedding Bracelet 1852
Hailing from London, England, circa 1852, this charming Victorian antique sterling silver bracelet features a detailed foliate band with a buckle front. Sold as a wedding bracelet, the front of the bangle expands via slide with the buckle and is fully hallmarked on the inside. This is one of a pair of wedding bracelets that I have with the other also available on our site.
During Victorian times, a bracelet was given and worn when betrothed and the matching bangle worn after marriage. A sentimental and endearing tradition of love!
- Materials: Sterling Silver
- Measurements: Fully expanded, the bracelet measures 6 5/8 inches and adjusts smaller. Meant for the smaller wrist. Width is 3/16 inch
