A beautifully designed vintage Mexican sterling silver necklace dating to the mid-1950s.
Measuring 34 inches long, the substantial 77.4-gram chain alternates polished sterling silver ball links with elegant infinity figure-eight links. The curved ribbed clasp allows it to be worn long or doubled for a completely different look.
The clasp is hallmarked Sterling Mexico 925 along with a designer stamp.
A wonderful example of Mexican modernist jewelry—simple, sculptural, and effortlessly chic. It has just the right amount of presence to wear on its own, while also making a beautiful addition to a layered look.
