A clever piece of 1920s novelty jewelry, this vintage William Barthman pendant features a hinged sterling silver box containing two original cream-colored bone dice with black enamel dots. The frame opens to allow the dice to be removed or securely enclosed inside.
Stamped “STERLING SILVER” and “PAT. DEC. 28 - 1920,” along with the William Barthman maker’s mark, this ingenious pendant is a wonderful find for collectors of antique gambling charms, vintage novelty jewelry, and unusual historical pieces.
