This Antique Victorian Scottish Citrine Comet Kilt Brooch is a remarkable work of art from late 1800s. It was crafted from sterling silver and features a 7.5 carat open-back citrine gemstone set upon the top of a twining comet-style mounting. Produced by renowned company William Dunningham and Co., this piece is ideal for wearing as a kilt brooch or befittingly suspended on a long silk ribbon cord.

Gemstone: Natural Golden Citrine- Roughly 7.5 carats
Measurements: 3 1/3 inches long

Hallmarks: STG for sterling and hallmarked for William Dunningham and Co
Date: Circa late 1800s
Condition: Very good with no chips or nicks to the citrine which displays a deep rich coloring. The pin clasp is original and secure.
