Superb antique Victorian brooch set with real Egyptian scarab beetles in a heavy 14K gold frame! Each genuine scarab beetle has an iridescent emerald green body with overtones of fiery red-orange at the rim. The insects are set in a scallop frame with a solid back, tubular hinge and elongated pin. Each beetle even has antennae. Exquisite workmanship!
