This exquisite Victorian-era 15K yellow gold ring features a diamond-shaped front of black enamel enlivened by a forget-me-not pearl flower at the center. The ornate quatrefoil cutout band shows off braided hair inside, and is inscribed on the interior. Bearing full British hallmarks, this romantic memento mori piece dates back to 1890 and still exudes its original timeless beauty after more than a century.

Condition: Very, very good with all the enamel and pearls intact. The engraving on the inside is crisp. The plaited hair remains tight and secure with no fraying. A well preserved treasure!
