Delightfully capped in a rolled rose gold band, this simplistic carved natural green jade pendant charm swaying from a fine chain is the epitome of a love token. Called Pounamu in New Zealand, the nephrite jade has a rich deep coloring showing natural inclusions with a the gold cap on both the back and front. Jade is an ancient stone that has historically been used to attract love. A wonderful sentiment and a stunning piece of antique jewelry. Circa 1910s.
