This exquisite Gutta Percha locket is adorned with a delicate 10K gold seed pearl slider, suspended on a 48 inch long muff guard chain with a swivel hook at the bottom. The front of the locket features a stunning gold filled link design, while the back is smooth. When opened, the locket reveals two compartments, one holding a lock of hair behind its original glass cover, and the other displaying a charming forget me not carving. Exquisitely produced and a most unique piece of authentic original Victorian mourning jewelry that is as wearable today as it was 150 years ago!
