This exquisite antique Georgian sterling silver vinaigrette, beautifully designed and hallmarked in Birmingham in 1818 by John Turner, features a purse-shaped rectangle with an intricately engraved floral and forget me not pattern. The pendant opens like a book, revealing a gold gilt interior with a pierced floral lid. The locket style hinged compartment can hold a small amount of perfume on cotton. The front is engraved with the phrase 'O still, rein in her me', adding a sentimental touch to this antique collectible piece.
