This stunning and sought-after antique Irish Victorian brooch features a glistening gold garter buckle adorned with a masterfully carved harp. The intricate design also includes handcarved shamrock clovers with delicate gold accents, all encircled by a detailed gold buckle. The brooch showcases the beauty of bog oak, a precious material found in Ireland's peat bogs, with its elaborately carved harp or lyre and gold strings at its center. A similar piece was exhibited at the Dublin Exhibition in 1861 and can now be found at the Smithsonian. This collectible treasure is not only a piece of Irish heritage, but also a timeless and wearable accessory that has stood the test of time.
