Vintage Art Deco necklace with the most unusual fringe! Hand painted wooden tear drop shaped beads dangle from a creamy white celluloid chain ending with a thumb ring clasp. The wooden beads look as if they were dipped in paint with the background color a pale green and stripes of pink to red with darker colors of yellow and green…all with a pearl like finish. Each tear drop shape has a gold gilt petal cap attaching it to the celluloid chain. A really superb and unique piece of jewelry!

Measurements: 16 1/4″ with each tear drop shape dangling down 1 1/2″
Circa: 1920
Condition: Very good with no breaks to the celluloid and all paint basically intact. There is some crazing on the finish but not a deterrent
